About Us //
We didn’t start with pigs—we started with people. The mission hasn’t changed, just the tools.

Our Roots: Where It All Began

For over 12 years, they built All Across Africa, launching one of East Africa’s most impactful artisan supply chains—connecting rural Ugandan basket weavers to global brands like Anthropologie, West Elm, and Target. But the work was always about more than just baskets. It was about trust, relationships, and showing up—listening deeply to communities and walking alongside them to create meaningful, lasting opportunities.

That work taught them a powerful lesson: real impact doesn’t start with the product—it starts with people. By investing in valuable local inputs (raffia, training, infrastructure) and connecting them to stable, high-value markets, they were able to help communities scale something beautiful and profitable.

But with time, challenges emerged. Export markets—while full of opportunity—also brought risk. Unpredictable demand and global disruptions exposed how vulnerable rural communities remained. Listening again, the AAA team asked: What do people need most right now? What opportunities are rooted right here?

The answer was clear: pigs and maize.

Out of that moment of listening came a new mission. Today, AAA Farms is building on the same principles that made their basket work so powerful: careful investment in inputs, deep community partnership, and smart, scalable pathways to market. But this time, it’s local—designed around Uganda’s fast-growing demand for pork and animal feed.

Agnes, Alicia, Ben, Fred, and Greg have teamed up again—this time in agriculture—to help build a more resilient, inclusive rural economy. Together with farmers, they’re building an ecosystem: reliable markets, modern training, better tools, and local jobs that create shared value from the ground up.

Led by compassion, pragmatism, and deep respect for the communities they serve, the AAA Farms team believes this:

When we invest in our neighbors and what they already have—land, skill, and grit—everyone grows.

Our Future: Growing Deeper, Reaching Further

As we look ahead, our roots are growing stronger—and our branches are reaching wider.

To meet rising demand and deepen our impact, we’re bringing on talented Ugandans who combine deep local understanding with technical expertise. Jude, a skilled veterinary professional, is helping ensure the health and welfare of our animals as we scale. Dr. Alfred Opiyo, our Central Farm Manager, is bringing leadership and rigor to our operations, setting a new standard for productivity and animal care. Alongside them, many other experienced professionals from across the agriculture industry are joining us—contributing their knowledge, energy, and passion to grow something that lasts.

These team members reflect our long-term vision: building a resilient agricultural system driven by local leadership, backed by knowledge, and scaled through partnership.

As we grow, we're committed to investing in more talent, expanding our training network, and bringing innovation directly to the farm gate. This isn’t just about expansion—it’s about building a future where communities lead, and opportunity is rooted right where people already live and work.

We’re just getting started—and we’re looking for more people who want to build with us. If that sounds like you, let’s talk.
